CM for Vijayawada city on Sept. 27

Vijayawada, Sept. 24: The district administration is making arrangements for the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Raja-sekhar Reddy’s one-day visit to the Krishna district on September 27. The Chief Minister will arrive at Tummalapalem at 11 am and unveil the statue of late Chanumolu Venkat Rao. Later, he will address a public meeting at the ferry and will inaugurate a health camp at Ajit Singh Nagar in Vijayawada.
He will also inaugurate a newly-constructed building at the industrial estate of the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (ALEAP) at Surampalli. The Chief Minister will proceed to Nuzvid to attend a programme at IIIT and lay foundation stone for both drinking water scheme and Rajiv Swagruha housing scheme.
Dr Reddy will launch Rajiv Arogyasri scheme at a mega health camp here at Makineni Basava Punnaiah municipal stadium. About 50 networking hospitals across the state will take part in the camp. This is the third time that the officials are making arrangements for the launch of Arogyasri programme in the city. The programme was cancelled twice due to heavy rains.
